As we enter the second half of 2015, you might be wondering what color trends are just around the corner. Today we take a closer look at the 2016 Colormix from Sherwin-Williams which details their paint color collections that range in style from warm and welcoming to cool and cutting-edge.
This collection consists primarily of light, neutral tones designed to let the viewer unwind. These colors include: “Natural materials, honed and sheer. Ancient alabaster and marble hues. Warmer grays turning to khaki and blushed neutrals.” These colors work in harmony to create bright, flowing spaces with one darker option in the “Urbane Bronze.” Tie the room’s elements together using patterned fabrics and paintings that include multiple colors, as pictured below. Go bold with turquoise accessories such as this eye-catching pillow from B.Viz’s Embroidery and Applique line. A patterned rug or hide, this Zig Zag Console Table and Greek Key Round Mirror by Global Views create a point of interest against the neutral backdrop of the “Wool Skein” paint color, part of the “Pura Vida” collection.
